Corin's mom may or may not have done the same thing that my mom did for my 18th. XD;

Hee! I'm glad you're invested in them, though! I am very excited about them and am enjoying them very much so it's good to see other people being excited about them too :D

Things cool off for a time, for the years when Simeon's off at art school 90% of the time (he starts a year late, iirc) and Corin's distracting himself with other people. And then Corin goes off to the same art school Sim goes to and they still don't see each other hardly at all, because art school is a lot more work than Corin thought it would be and also, dating his roommate.

Sim has some Issues regarding relationships (the part where he's intensely shy about his private life and doesn't want to let anyone get to know him in that way) so he does spend a lot more time pining away, while for Corin it's more of a background thing that he ends up freaking out a bit over once it actually happens because, you know, cousin and he'd sort of resigned himself to the impossibility of it all. HERE, LET ME TEASE YOU:
