I loved this fic, it was indeed heartbreaking and beautiful and your finished calendar picture brought tears to my eyes too - it captures that poignancy and sense of impending loss. I really like your sketched version though that is less moving and more nightmarish. I had a go at a wallpaper myself after reading the story but wasn't very happy with it - yours is so much better!! :D

The sketch version had a little bit too many elements for a wallpaper. I had to leave some space for the calendar itself and for the user's icons :/ It it was just a usual fan art I would have gone for something with more details and darker.
The fic is really amazing, I understand why so liked it so much.

I haven't read the fic and I'm not sure if I will. Along the Road to Anywhere made me cry like a baby and there's no real character death. It's so much easier to make me cry with words than with pictures.

Your art is incredible though. When you look at Sam's face you can directly see what's happening.

If you are allergic to death!fics, just don't because you are really gonna cry ^^;; I come from a fandom where the main actor died in almost all his movies (Sean Bean) so a death!fic for us isn't something that makes us really cry. It's like "Sean is dead, it must be Tuesday" XD

Ah, "Along the Road to Anywhere"! I didn't have the time to read it yet but the drawings by Ordinaryinks were just fantastic! I must be an horrible person but I have nothing against sad fics and death!fics in particular ^^;;

Ok while I'm not into Wincest, your art is always incredible and so was that fic. Beautiful, haunting, it made me wanna bawl my eyes out.
