I actually know you better by your blog that in person so maybe I don't have an accurate point of view.

That's exactly the problem. You can't really compare the impressions, because you basically only know me by my blog -- I don't think we've talked in depth in person even once. Btw, that is true even for most of my family. My parents know me, of course, but the rest of my family knows me mostly from LJ (the ones who read it, anyway :-)), so they also won't have basis for comparison.

The blog shows a facet of you, that can be otherwise obscured.
As a socially intelligent person, you entertain the person in-front of you, and match the content and delivery to your audience, by measuring their response.

As an academic-style writer, you tend to be very accurate and complete in your phrasings. It makes it much easier for me to read and understand you (at least I think I do). Others may seek entertainment in your blog, but this is not compatible with the purpose of getting a fiduciary concept of Ola.

I think your friend likes your entertainer mask, where you pass your ideas in a method compatible to your audience.
This blog casts light on your morals and way of thinking. Not on your social capacity.
