There used to be a time when I came home crying after every other BJJ class. Now it happens much less often - once in a couple of weeks or so. Of course, I don’t show any of it to my classmates. Like you, I often take BJJ WAY TOO SERIOUSLY!
The only way we can get better is by opening up trying for things, going for things, risk getting passed/subbed, loosing a position... If we don't try, we'll never learn. If we do try, eventually, these "risks" wont be so risky anymore... Nothing in BJJ works 100% of the time. But hopefully, as we keep training we can up the percentages.
I want you to come to canada so i can train with you!!
How is training going otherwise? What belt are you at now?
Don't give up. I believe in you. One of my sensei's always says, a black belt is just a white belt who never quit. I see lots of blues drop off, purples who stop training, even browns.... Don't quit, you'll get there.
I believe in you!

Absolutely! This is so true. My problem is that I understand it theoretically, but it's very difficult to make myself do it. I don't know why -- as I said, everyone else I know is doing it. Almost all the people in our class are white belts (Fabio opened the school half a year ago), but they go for things! Only I'm the chicken :-(
Thanks for believing in me! I'm moving in May next year, see you then!
Oh, and: how was your tournament?

Unfortunately, I'm already pretty sure that I'll be living in Toronto area... but I'm still looking forward to paying you a visit!
