Всё-таки, избегать надо! Да, избегать. Стараться не обращать внимания на задир. По возможности, конечно. - Помню, как, придя из школы, с грустью ответила на такие же речи: "Очень трудно не обращать внимания, когда тебя метлой по голове..."
Тут трудность в определении черты - до какого места - избегать, а после какого - бить морду. Из последних слабых сил. :(
