I feel it in my bones.

I woke up this morning and went straight to work.  I worked a 3.11 hour shift.  Nothing to complain about.

After work, I went straight to Barnes and Noble to find some summer reading.  I intended on purchasing "Running With Scissors" which is a memoir.  I couldn't find it.  I can never find books when they are not organized by author, and this book ( Read more... )

Your days would be sunnier if could work up the guts to ask for help finding "Running with Scissors." It's probably on my top five memoirs list ("Lucky" comes close but it's certainly a downer) because of the unrelentless humor. Come on, work up the courage -you can do it!

Ah! Lucky is so good!

After putting minimal effort into finding "Running With Scissors," I realized that my best friend owns a copy, so I thought I could just get some books and trade one of my new books (after I have read it, of course!) for "Running with Scissors." So, I will definitely be reading it this summer!

Awe, you poor dear. I happen to be one of those people who will volunteer to take the weight off of others shoulders or to fork out a small fortune so others don't have to. I usually do this out of the kindness of my heart (listen to me being all modest), but every once and awhile I get extremely pissed off when no one else wants to do the helping. It can really get under someone's skin. :C

I also find that what that person said to you at the bookstore to be extremely disgusting. :C Granted, I have a ring on my finger, but even if I didn't I wouldn't be going on dates or hooking up with people just because. That's ridiculous. One of the things that people in this world lack is loyalty. :C Serious business, man. I've been cheated on and lied to enough that it makes me wary of people. I probably would have decked that guy! Shame, shame, shame!

That's how I am. I really don't mind paying for stuff. I pay for my friends and boyfriend when we go out. I just hate when people will blatantly use me... definitely not cool. :( I asked them to cover the tip, and they wouldn't do that! Lame...

I am also disgusted with that man. But ironically enough, I started wearing this tiny diamond ring that my ex gave me. :)

Geeze, they wouldn't even cover the tip? No more pizza for them!

Awe. Well, you need to tell your boyfriend he needs to replace that diamond ring! You shouldn't be wearing something an ex gave you! XD

I can't stand men like that, too. If I was dating someone who thinks like that, how would they feel if I went on a date with someone else? Chances are, they would not be cool with that.

and then (what he thought was) ever so slyly asked me what my boyfriend thought of it.

You mean this isn't sly? damnit!

I don't understand why men do that! Why not a simple "So, do you have a boyfriend?"
