Indispensable for lolcats and bringing down governments

Photoshop is 20 years old today. Its creators first thought it might appeal only to a very small number of users, maybe a few hundred of the world's top ad agencies, but today probably tens of millions worldwide find it indispensable (including myself) and it's also one of the world's most pirated pieces of software. Haven't seen all of those before - thanks for posting them.

I rarely use Photoshop for anything other than tweaking photos, and when I do try, I realise just how much I lack patience.

One of the big reliefs of the recent classes I'm taking is having working, pro photographers stand up and say "I only use about 10% of Photoshop's capabilities."

These days I'm more likely to use Lightroom, unless it's something specific that only Photoshop can do.

I haven't even exhausted PhotoShop Elements, let alone the full PhotoShop.

Those are very skilfully done images.

20! i nearly forgot!
i've never done anything quite as good as the above (mainly cos i don't know how to) cos i've never needed to.

congratulations on the metropolis cover, btw.
