Is "Darfsteller" in the collection? If so, read it again. The thing about Miller is that sometimes the preoccupation with religious themes is above board (A Canticle for Leibowitz). Other times, it is there, but buried in metaphor (The Darfsteller).

Yes, it's in this collection, but I'm struggling to find any religious themes in it, even metaphorically.
