Life imitates SF - science fiction restaurants

Several years ago there was a science fiction-themed family restaurant at Darling Harbour in Sydney called Xerts. It was billed as the first SF restaurant in the world, though it probably wasn't (anyone know of others? I think there used to be one in Colchester, England). The Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas has a replica of Quark's, serving themed food and drink. No qagh on the menu, fortunately.

Our high street boasts a former burger bar (an Ed's Diner type, indeed I think it may have been Ed's Burgers) which got computerised so you could order from your table without needing a waiter or waitress. It was renamed Bytes or MegaBytes. Despite garnering news coverage, it has remained closed "for refurbishment" for a good nine months now.
