I was supposed to fly to LA tomorrow and meet uo with Oparu go and see Much Ado about Nothing then spend a few day in the city before heading up to Seattle.
Not any more,the flights just been cancelled and everything has gone awry.Bugger,damn and blast.I really really hate that volcano.

She died this morning.She had a heart condition  and it finally gave out,she was almost 14 which I suppose is pretty good by cat standards.
She had a great life and that's how I shall remember her.

A friend and I went for a drive last weekend around Connemara.As well as the usual beautiful views I  found the ruins of another castle.Its in very good condition but there is no plaque telling of its history.There wasn't even signposted and it was tricky trying to get to it.

Had a much needed fun weekend in Dublin with Opal.I had trouble finding a hotel due to a rugby match but Opal came to the rescue nad found us a hotel.A nice one in a strange place ,part housing estate,industrial complex and dismal wasteland.

Looked at old buildings,saw the Wellington monument and went to the zoo.When looking at Tigers lying around ( Read more... )

All four Swallow chicks made it and have flown the nest.They were flying around the garden this morning.
