What about an oil filled one? Those are what we use at work, when I'm at work

I have a little one (1KW), which is OK for my office space, but for larger rooms (even at full tilt) won't really dent the cold.

I've been rocking a barn door complexity convector for the last few months, but it has become abundantly clear that the patio door in here is about as airtight as a sieve, and equally thermally efficient.

What I really need is a sugar mummy / daddy (I'm no proud) to pony up the cash for new windows. Or I can wait until the summer when I have paid off the bathroom upgrades.
