Aw, boys. It would've been kind of nice if they had gone on the run together, but who knows what would've happened in New York if they had.

It’s a small island of civilization along the river of the highway, so sleepy the only lights still on are streetlamps.

I really liked that line. Just felt I'd share. Also it kind of reminded me of Stars Hollow, which is just me thinking about Gilmore Girls lately.

He glances back at Peter and finds him hunching his shoulders as if anyone could see him.

*snort* He would, too. I mean his whole face is all wince-y and apologetic whenever he bumps into people when they're walking around together, also while invisible.

You know, Peter does have some good knives and the ridiculously bright colored colander in his kitchen, I wouldn't be surprised if he did do a fair amount of cooking.

Anyway, this made me smile and it's totally not gen, what with the obvious awkward UST so thank you for posting, I loved reading it.

I'm really not sure what would've happened. Too many variables. In this I kind of imagined it all going kaput, basically, with Nathan not even winning the election. But of course that wouldn't have stopped Ted and Sylar from getting to the city. Although... I don't quite remember how Sylar found out about Ted's power, so possibly the explosion wouldn't have happened.

XD Thanks. It's nice when I get to be atmospheric.

Heh, I don't think Peter would ever become really accustomed to being invisible. He'd always feel like people could see him.

I bet it was a big independence thing with him, cooking for himself. I'm sure that ridiculously bright colored colander has 101 uses.

Thank you for reading and enjoying! *hugs*
