RULES

This is a little bit more complex than a fic meme or fic exchange. Please read below for important information and answers to your burning bingo questions!

1. Okay, seriously guys, what the hell is this? It's big, and it's pink, and I don't understand.

First and foremost this is a prompt challenge. The bingo card has 25 squares, and each square has a prompt. Our overall goal is to fill the card: meaning at the end of this challenge we will have 25 new Plaude fics! And everyone wants 25 new Plaude fics.

As long as a prompt is unfilled, you can write a fic for it. Filled prompts will be marked on our bingo card by having an active link to their corresponding fic. We will also keep an ongoing list of all completed fics in the body of this entry.

If you really want to write a fic for an already filled prompt then we'll post it. However our goal is to fill the card, so we encourage you to write something that is unfilled. If a prompt is double filled, rather than marking it with a link, it will be italicized with an asterisk. You can refer to the list in this entry for links to both fics.

2. This isn't a fic exchange and it's not an anonymous fic meme. So how do I submit my fic?

Once you write a fic for this challenge, you can post it wherever you want. It does not need to be posted on this community. However, you are required to comment on this entry with a link to your fic-- even if you post to peterandclaude. Once a link is provided, the card will be updated. Please comment with a link only. All fics should be posted as separate entries and not as comment!fic.

If you choose to post your fic in a personal journal or fic writing community, the entry cannot be locked.

3. I still don't understand what this has to do with bingo…?

This is a bingo card, so there is a game aspect to this challenge!

For those who haven't played before, the goal of bingo is basically to get a straight line. This line can be vertical, horizontal, or a diagonal (diagonals must run through the center square). If you complete the last square in a line, then you can call "Bingo!"

You do not need to write all five fics in the line to get bingo.

Using the first row of our card as an example, perhaps you notice that swimming through baby-- first steps has been filled by other people. If you fill meeting the parents, you will complete a row and get to call "Bingo!" When you comment with the link to your fic, simply write "BINGO!" in the subject heading.

There is a reward for calling bingo other than our awe and wonder! Either visiblemarket or myself will reply to your comment with confirmation of your bingo. Once you receive confirmation, you can tag any other participating author to complete an unfilled prompt of your choice. That author of your choosing will then have a week to complete the fill. Simply reply to either me or visiblemarket with the following:

Tag!: [insert LJ username]
Prompt: [insert prompt]

We will then notify the author.

[Edit: Clarification! You can call "Bingo!" anytime you complete a line. It is not limited to the first person to achieve bingo. We will keep up the tagging until all the boxes are filled.]

4. How do I sign-up?

Just comment in this entry to let us know you're participating.

If you comment, you are obligated to fill at least one prompt (not including if another author calls Bingo! and tags you.)

Once you sign up, you can immediately start writing and posting.

5. Are there any restrictions on what I can and can't write?

Not really. We took the card from schmoop_bingo, but you are not required to write schmoop. If you think long walks on the beach is the epitome of angst, then that's fine. Or maybe candles inspires a cracky AU.

We only ask that all submitted fics have a 300 word minimum.

And that's it! Comment here with any questions! Otherwise, sign-up and get writing!
