although... I hate to say this but I wouldn't put the entire blame on a (still kinda) male dominated world but also on the (few, very few) women who thought it would be a good idea to use something as horrible as rape to get back at people/get attention. And this in no way excuses their (the people here) attitude, or a lot of people's attitude. But in whatever circle of hell rapists are, those women are in the one next to that that one. But I'd also blame the media for the frauds; because apparently that's way more interesting than women who were actually raped. GAH! And I cannot think of any men who did that, from the top my head; there must be, though fewer because I think the unreported cases with men is still higher than that of women (percentage wise).
Though I cannot believe what happened there. There should be one procedure for everybody. And a bit of caution and scepticism should be part of the job; but 'caution is the better part of valor' goes both ways, and with something as horrible and devestating as this, the default

Life has always been this way. Men are sometimes abused by other men or their wives and they get no help to speak of either. It's a shame. No wonder no one reports these crimes. It's too bad. And lets face it, they don't really work too hard on the ones that are reported, am I right?
And if you swapped the sexes of the victims (guy raped by 2 unknown males/girl raped by 'friend' after party), you *know* they'd ignore the one involving the girl even more. "Oh, she changed her mind - too difficult to prove" etc.
