"What the hell?" he finally asked.

"Charlene's revenge, I'm sure," Peter said, taking the little plastic air stopper thingy out of one ball. "I'll get him back."

"...have I met Charlene?" Greg wondered, picking up a ball and letting the air out. "And how are we getting back at them?"

[peter__parker]

"I'm not sure. He's a very burly guy. If you've seen anyone around who you'd describe as burly, that's him," Peter said. "And I have an idea about his bed and the ceiling, but I need to work on something first."

Tyler heard the pops from his room and poked his head into the hall to investigate. "What's up?"

"You live next door to someone who's in the middle of a prank war," Peter said.

"Hi, I'm Peter Parker."

"Tyler Durden," Tyler said. "I know Greg a little."

He smirked. "Prank war, huh? So what did you do to earn this one?"

"Have you met Charlie Kawalsky?" Peter asked. "I made up stickers that said he used to be Charlene Kawalsky."

Lyta padded by on her way back to her room. The abrupt hissing as she walked past 313 made her stop in her tracks. She turned, just in time to see Peter as he deflated a ball...and there were still more flowing out of the open door. "Uhm, problem?" she asked, brows knitted in confusion.

"Not really. This is just the latest in a series of well-played pranks," Peter said. "I think I've seen you around before, but we haven't met, have we? I'm Peter Parker."

"Lyta Alexander." She smiled, extending her hand. "Prank war, hm? Seems your opponent got you good this time. What'd you do to him?"

It had to be another boy, Lyta reasoned, not because she hated boys -- far from it -- but largely because it was, well, boy-ish. Inwardly, she shook her head. She definitely needed to cut back on the Wendy the Werewolf Stalker reruns.

"Do you know Charlie Kawalsky?" Peter asked. "Do you know that he used to be Charlene Kawalsky? I exposed that truth to the world."

Alanna had been heading back to her room. "Peter? What'd you do?"

"I made stickers that called Charlie Kawalsky 'Charlene'," Peter said. He figured Alanna could work out the rest from there.

She did. And promtly burst out laughing. "Brilliant, the both of you, really." Snicker. "Can I steal a few of them?"

"Thank you. We're just getting started, I think," Peter said. "And if course you can take a few. We have plenty to spare."

Heading back to his room, Zack passed by. "What happened here?"

"Charlene Kawalsky's revenge," Peter said. "New person, right? Hi, I'm Peter Parker. Have a beach ball"

"Zack Addy," he said, picking up a beachball and dribbling it. "Why is Charlene taking revenge on you?"

"Because his name is Charlie now," Peter said. "And I made stickers that announced his former femininity to the world."
