After spending some time in the common room where he completely missed Mister What by talking to Rory, Bridge, and Grad!Xander, Peter returned to his room to relax a bit.

Hermione's walking back to her room, pausing by 313 because it's hard not to.

"Problems?" she asks.

"Charlie Kawalsky. Big burly guy. He used to go by Charlene, but that was a lifetime ago for him. Or her, at that time," Peter said. "And I try to avoid prank wars, but when someone puts shaving cream in your socks, it's just not the time for pacifism."

"We did talk," Peter said. "He made it clear that he'd rather have fun with pranks. I'm merely responding in kind." He grinned, hoping that would diffuse any further reasonable responses.
