You look great...Embrace the change, fresh start and all!! One day, when I was living in NYC and just fed up and IDK...OVER 'IT' (LIFE), I picked up the scissors upon arriving home from work and went into the bathroom. This freaked out my roommate and even though my hair had been down to my arse for YEARS (tips, you know), I just took my hair by the scruff of the neck and started sawing it off. My roommate gasped, but I just needed the change. I couldn't explain it. I later when back to keeping it this long and I will tell you why. When I cut it all off, I envisioned one of those cut little pixie...no Chelsea Bobs. Really short in the back with a clean long neck (which my brother says is my greatest asset) and longer in the front, like a triangle, until the bangs where to my chin

Going to agree on the beard with everyone else. But keep it tight and trimmed to a goatee. It will look badass and non-scraggly.

I'm glad you finally did this. Even if the universe had to kick your ass to do it.

I am going with margoeve with the beard comments. But as someone who wears glasses I recently changed the type of glasses I wear (went from wire frames to black plastic) so now instead of being just functionally they add something slightly different to my appearance. If you are due for some new frames maybe shake things up in that area also. Just suggestion but otherwise I really like the new cut!
