So, I pulled an all-nighter, drove the family all the way up to the cities in the pitch dark, with no sleep, in deer country (nice and stressful!). WE COULD HAVE WATCHED THE SUN RISE ABOVE THE DESOLATE, EMPTY FIELDS. THE SIGHT OF IT WAS ALMOST PROFANE.
and now the dog has woken me up and so enraged am i at not being asleep anymore i just barked back at him and now my throat is raw and he's hiding in his bed. like lizard brain-stem anger. >8U

It really is rotten luck. The first time in 32 years that my mother flies, and that happens. Thankfully, the rest of her trip went alright.

After working my shift and watching M*A*S*H with the dog for a bit, I got a solid eight hours, so all's well that ends well. :)
