On a more serious note, killer rampaging lesbians aside, I did get an email once (when I was directing Pride Alliance), from a group called the Pink Pistols. They advocated arming all gay people so that we could defend ourselves from hate crimes. *head desk*

My friend Luke in Seattle packed a piece, and he intended on using it. He would sport around in a pink leather mini skirt with a toy pistol on his necklace hoping for trouble. I would not doubt he is out capping homophobes now. I don't exactly condone the behavior, but it takes a lot of effort not to think, "hell yeah! Fuck em up Luke".

yeah man, for sure. I'm not necessarily dismissive about the situation, because I'm sure there's is a margin of truth to it. However, the rhetoric? AMAZING.
