Oh, that was sooo good. The last lines made me tear up. I like how Bella really had to think about apologizing and that she actually took the time and thought it out before the natural conclusion. And that in the end Jacob really forgave her so easily.
Plus there were presents! Music and a recipe! What an excellent Christmas story. Thank you!

I love your imagery. This is such a poetic description of Bella abandoned:

if she were invisible, no one would know she is here. (She almost closes her eyes then, just to see if she can really disappear.)...Now her heart is fluttering; maybe instead of turning invisible, she will become a butterfly. The thought fascinates her.
