Yay!! :D

I don't know about inspires me, but I'm kind of tied to one location to do all my writing. And it seems to be working! I just hit my goal of 2,600 words a day! I'm at 2,687 and I started writing right after midnight last night. So! I want to get really decently ahead, just in case there's a day I can't write as much ahead *knock wood* :D

*chug-a-lugs along*

What location is that, if you don't mind me asking? Wow! Congrats! That's waht I hope to be doing, too. I know for a fact that I'll have days like that when there's a convention a little later this month. It's what Chris Baty recommends, too: speed write through your first couple of weeks so that by the end it's okay if you miss time.

It's the computer where I do everything else; email, internet, all that. I'm very comfortable here, nice light, all that wonderful stuff. *G* It's just off the living room and the only distraction is the window (ooh, lookit that tree.... wait, where was I?) and the radio. I can see the TV, but only by turning around and craning my neck. Which is painful and can't keep up long ;-D

Here's hoping everyone else can keep up the insane speed! Good luck to you!

Comfortable is good. NaNo has this tendency of bringing out the difference in me. I try to spend more time writing at cafes, than in the place where I do it the most--the bathtub. Don't laugh. It actually works. :D Good for reading, too. It seems that I'm not the only one in my family who does this, either: my uncle is a bathtub reader.

At home, my computer is in the dining room...which is probably the worst place for it to be. There's so much comotion. But if I plug in some music, I'll be cool. I wish I had enough cash to get a iPod right now. I could really use that while I'm at work.

Very much! Insane speed for the next week. I'd like to average 2500 per day for the entirity of NaNo. That would be nifty. Probably not realistic, but still nifty. Good luck to you, too. :D
