I love big cities and am totally fine in them. In fact, I prefer big cities [with the exception of NYC which is an angry city, regardless of size] and feel freaked out and claustrophobic in small ones [yeah, I need to get the hell out of here]. But I'm certainly not liberal. But I would also imagine that there isn't a huge crossover of people who have lived smaller and also lived in big, walkable cities. Also, don't the aspies and autists gather in cities? I thought they were all concentrated there.

The more extreme spectrals (which obv I am not) are so bothered by random stuff EVERYwhere that they probably end up living just wherever their best services, family, caregivers are. They learn systems for living, embedded in local details, and I would expect bigger cities to win out for practicality -- though probably not skewed toward the most expensive cities like NYC unless there's much greater 'health' resources or some other quirky factor.
there isn't a huge crossover of people who have lived smaller and also lived in big, walkable cities Huh? Most individuals (who I happen to know...yes, likely selection biases) have lived for some years across a variety of city/town sizes in the U.S ( ... )
