Awwww. Sweet little glimpse into the start of what is going to be an epic romance. Tingly fingers, indeed. And how Matt didn't melt into a little puddle every time John gave him the Smirk of Fondness, I will never know.

I feel like each of these moments could be expanded into their own 1K+ fic. ... just sayin'. Ya know. If you wanted other John/Matt things to write. For example.

ALSO. Interestingly (perhaps only to me) my original idea(s) for SFF was to do a gapfiller. So my 1st attempt involved Mrs. Kaludis (scrapped), and my 2nd attempt involved John and Matt in the car in that first scene that you used above. So. Kinda good that I scrapped that one too. (FYI, 3rd attempt was a post-movie with Matt in the hospital. Still got parts of that one; it didn't completely suck. Attempt 4 is the story that actually got posted. Ohhhhhh, fickle muse.)

Heh. So funny that we both did (or started to do) gapfic, and for around about the same moment. (we both did sidekicks too!)
And it IS interesting to me. You know it is lol. It has been ten years (TEN Sev, OMFG. <3333333). Ten years and I still will never, ever get tired of discussing the minutiae of these guys, and writing in general with you. Happy anniversary fandom wife!
