Okay, so I've now read this three times. And I think... once John and Matt start TALKING, I actually have all kinds of love for this. Because Matt is so Matt and John is so... well, Matt says it: he's so control-freak-y and McClane-y. The aesthetic, as we've talked about, does nothing for me (I like my McClane being large and in charge, thankyouverymuch) and I'm not sure how Matt's first time topping would actually GO, but I can certainly hear this kind of dialogue in my head. It's very THEM, you know? So super kudos to you for pulling this off. I knew if anyone could do it, it would be you. /is so smart.

Also: MATTY. *grins foolishly*

Hey, thanks so very much. These two look so different, and vary so much in size and attitude, I think precisely the reason many people are drawn to this fandom is the typical dominant-John dynamic, so I can admit I was a bit daunted by the challenge.

Yes the little anniversary tidbit - that was my attempt to give the story a little something beyond just the sex, but I wasn't so sure how much it came across so I'm glad it got through to you. :) Thanks again!
