This is beautiful. I'm kind of flaily-goopy right now because I've been sitting here with this comment box open for EONS and yet I can't really express what I want to say. But l love the imagery of the rotting orchard and of... sort of all the things unsaid that you express through the imagery (Glenn holding the peach, not up to smile about it just yet) and He’d never had the lessons made my heart do a little clench in my chest.
