You did an excellent job of capturing the Brig's vulnerability in his later years. And yes, Martha and Liz would have a lot to talk about, given how much they have in common. :)

Thank you. Re-watching the Brig's SJA appearance in light of Nick C's death made me notice afresh just *how* vulnerable he appeared, so I tried to work that in.

And yes, Martha and Liz have a great deal in common.

Finally catching up on some fic reading, yay!

This story was definitely worth the wait, as it had most of my favorite DW characters together. I love that Liz and Martha met in your story, that Liz got to see the Brig again (even if it was a bit sad for her), and that Martha got to meet Eight (who I think has the potential to be much better for her than Ten). Great job! I look forward to any more stories you write in the ficverse. :)
