OK, I've not seen many Three episodes... is that a tatoo on his arm?

Yes it is. It's Jon's own - from when he was in the Navy. Fanon has it that the Time Lord's branded him when they sent him into exile - which is why Three's the only Doctor to have it.

The photo's from Doctor Who and the Silurians - an episode I totally recommend! (Actually, I recommend all of S7 - which is Liz's only one.)

Welcome!

Spearhead from Space introduces Three, Liz and the whole "UNIT Family" concept.

Doctor Who and the Silurians is reckoned by many to be *the* best episode of S7 (and even of the Third Doctor's era).

Ambassadors of Death features Men from Mars (sort of).

Inferno is another highly acclaimed Third Doctor story - and has the bonus of being the first parallel world story (and does it SO much better than RTD does in Pete's World!)

The first story on that list is only 4 eps long, the remainder are 7, and Ambassadors is the only one that's yet to be released on DVD.
