I've absolutely NO problem with the two characters of colour being married to each other - at least we'd then finally get a happy marriage for characters of colour.

I have no problem with it either - a lot of the time I tend to ignore the 'thinking too hard about writerly intentions' thing and just go "aw, those two got together! :oD" I think this is evidence of me blurring the reality line just a tad :o)
