Four (to the Countess): Well, you're a very beautiful woman, probably...

LOL! I want Ten to tell that to someone.

Yes! I've also heard it referred to as 'Four and Romana's Honeymoon'!

I've always enjoyed City of Death. It's VERY Douglas Adams and it's totally Tom & Lalla's honeymoon ;-D

This was the first time I'd seen this episode in ages, but I remembered quite a bit of it.

An awful lot of extra shots of them just running through Paris... was this the "we took the Doctor and Romana to Paris and we're going to make sure you know it" showing off?

I take it this was filmed while Tom and Lalla were still getting along? I'm not sure of the timeline between those two in terms of their romance, marriage, and subsequent divorce.

I actually liked Duggan a lot and wouldn't have minded seeing him as a companion. Of course, he probably would have started an intergalatic war because he hit somebody!

- I swear the bricks in that cellar wall which Duggan demolishes are made of balsa wood!

Well, the walls actually shake when he barrels into the wall that leds to the extra Mona Lisas.

Took me a moment to realize I'd seen the Count before (or is that later?)... Julian Glover also played Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last CrusadeLoved the Doctor's note to Leonardo: "I'll see you earlier..." I'd love to see some film ( ... )

Yes - they got married after their season together...

So true! But yes, he's a great companion-that-wasn't...

Well, the walls actually shake when he barrels into the wall that leds to the extra Mona Lisas.

I know - that's why I reckon they're made of balsa wood!

Took me a moment to realize I'd seen the Count before (or is that later?)... Julian Glover also played Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Yes - disturbing, isn't it?!

Loved the Doctor's note to Leonardo: "I'll see you earlier ( ... )

Loved that too. Poor Shakespeare, constantly running into the Doctor!

I know! Can't the poor guy get a break?

Btw are going to/have you reviewed the latest new series adventures novels? Would be interested to know what you thought of them.

You mean The Taking of Chelsea 426, Autonomy and The Krillitane Storm? I might, eventually, get around to it...
