Well I finished the actual writing last weekend, but I had to wait for poor shadowturquoise to wrestle with her work deadlines sufficiently to have time to read and comment on it. Which she kindly did.

Now I need to find space in my head to write the shorter Xmas fic that follows on from this before I embark on writing of their life of action/adventure! :D

Thanks for this! I woke up with sinus ickyness, and it was a treat to find the other half. :) I hope this isn't the end of John Smith's story--I really want to find out what happens to him.

Nope, it's not the end! There's a fic set at Xmas to come, and then there's an action/adventure-y one (with a proper SF-ish plot no less!) as well in the pipeline.

The Xmas one will see them actually getting to the secksings, but it's going to be a character study as well showing how John's managing a month or two after the end of this one.

Hee, yeah. She's stuck there permanently now! And John can get on with his own life safe in the knowledge that she's not going to be endangering the universes again!

(I must admit, Pete assisting him was a bit of a surprise to me!)

Yayyy! I was waiting all week for this and you never disappoint. I'm totally obsessed with AltTen and AltMartha now, and hope to see a lot of other peeps delving into this pairing.
