It is fab - it's bleak but powerful (in a way that RTD has never managed but apparently often wanted to be).

I'm honestly very proud of Deadline. It's the most personal of all the things I wrote for Big Finish, and the one I enjoyed most in studio. (We had Derek Jacobi! Come on!)

I know it'll never be a favourite of most fans - the tone is a bit harsher than my usual stuff. But it's *my* favourite, by a country mile, and the only one of my BF stories I can comfortably listen to again. ...Not that I have, in years! But at least I could, if I felt the urge!

I'm always so chuffed when someone enjoys Deadline. Thank you!

I'd have been giddy with glee at being anywhere near Sir Derek... It is harsh - but as I said to nea, it's also very powerful.
