The TARDIS Big Bang stories have finally gone up today, and I want to recommend hhertzof's Companions at the Chalet School.

Don't worry if you've never read a Chalet School story in your life - I haven't, but it doesn't matter. hhertzof has written an engaging, compelling story that weaves the Seventh Doctor and several of his Companions into it so seemlessly

I glanced over the story list and that one, along with a few others, really caught my eye. I'm going to print it out so I can read it at my leisure (reading longer stories on a computer monitor bothers my eyes too much).

Though, you gave me heart palpitations there for a minute. I got a Chalet School crossover fic in the Big Bang assignment lottery to prepare an illustration for, and reading your post I had a sudden moment of panic that had entirely failed at reading comprehension and had somehow illustrated a story that only existed in my fevered imagination. Turns out there are two crossover stories using that canon. I feel much better now.

LOL ! I apologise for freaking you out. I've not read paranoidangel's fic yet (I beta-read hhertzof's, that's how come I was able to recommend it so promptly)...

I look forward to reading several of the offerings...
