Haaaa, updating at PA worked for like, two days. It doesn't help that I got sick and ended up passing out every 30 mins in bed when I'd manage to be awake. Illnesses, for the win lose. I'll see if I can get back into updating this week (i.e. tomorrow ( Read more... )

Tonight is the night for 360s. I was reading a thread a little while ago about an exclusive game that's coming out for it (Alan Wake) and it almost sounds interesting enough that I kicked around the idea of getting a 360 instead of a PS3.

Then I realized wth and had a good laugh. :V We can be "need to think of some posts" club members- I need to think of ones for Honey and Paprika. ~.~

I'm just not fond of anything Xbox, tbh. I never liked the controllers for the first one, they were too bulky. These ones weren't so bad, though. But I've never played them because I don't like most of the games people have. FPS, mostly. Things like Halo aren't things I like to play, either. Watching something like Bioshock is fine with me, but I've never gotten into things like war games/alien war games/alien games or anything like that. But not only that, I just don't like the machine not being backward compatible/not able to play movies.

I just don't really like Microsoft, either. So. 8D;

WOAH WOAH WOAH, uh, what 360s have you encountered that don't play movies? /plays movies on ours all the time And you can download patches for any games that have trouble being BC.

Hmn, I thought I heard it can't play BluRay.

As for downloading patches -- I'd rather just be able to load up my disc and play instantly, which I can with the PS3. I have more PS/PS2 games at any rate, having never used an Xbox up until now in the first place, so it was more logical to buy the PS3 anyway. And nothing really on the Xbox has ever struck my fancy apart from maybe one or two games that I can live without ever playing. :x
