Oh, your Rose is so cute and I hope to see more of her, but the best part was Hermione and the house-elves (and Ron still thinking she's a bit mad on a regular basis).
Part of my mind is toying with the mad idea of trying to invent a school-year plot for this lot -- with no new Dark Lords, thanks -- but I've no idea what it might be. Although now I'm thinking of... was it your last year's femgenficathon story? and thinking maybe it would be related to Founder-mysteries.
At one point I think the discussion of Hermione had gotten a bit out of hand, but I think I got it to behave. I'm glad you liked it!
I don't think I ever converted anybody to a ship before. *grin* Well, maybe some goofier ones than this. It would just be so typical of Ron for that to happen, and it's such a random thing to bring up otherwise.
I'll bet you anything this is part of Rowling's personal canon. It seems like a very "Jo" thing to do. :-)
I wouldn't be surprised. I'm not quite that confident of it, but I wouldn't be surprised. *g* It fits how she's set stuff up before.
Rose's lectures came straight out of Ron's comment about her getting Hermione's brains, but I definitely didn't want to just copy her mother. She does adore Ron, although I note that her mischievous streak is currently coming out by teasing him at a distance!
Glad you liked the glimmers of Ron and Hermione coming through. I wasn't actually thinking about their marriage in detail, but I figure Ron will always think she's a little crazy. In a good way, mostly.

And I love the house elves petitioning Hermione because they didn't want to be free!

I think freeing the house-elves is likely to be a bit... er... complicated and not just because of the wizards.

OK, I know what this year's was. What was in between?
