That puts the childhood obsession with Neopets and Nano babies in a whole new light. Freaky. The Elsie and "Moo-Cow" bit also reminded me of 'RENT'. But that's just because I'm a sick person in need of professional help. I really liked it. It made me rethink all of those fads that we were into when we were younger.
If you were to re-write it, how would it be different? I'm just asking, because you mentioned that you would use the same premise.
I couldn't help but think when Rob was saying that he would be psychologically damaged, "You are already damaged". ; )
If I were to re-write it, I almost want to concentrate on just one relationship. It would probably be the "frienemy" dynamic between Elsie and Anna. Rob, Sherry, and Jason add something to the story, but I feel like I'm stretching it a bit too thin.
"You are already damaged"
Oh, yeeaah. Rob could have his own story, honestly. Hmmm.
