I got back to New York Monday night. I'm helping prepare for the gallery show in the lounge on Thursday. I've got six - yes, SIX - pieces on display. I've spent most of the evening hanging them (and also hanging out with

I'll try and mention your name when I get back to college in my journal entries.

I'm only in New York for the semester. I have a couple internships, here; one is with a painter, Rachel Friedberg, and the other is with Soft Skull Press, an independent publishing house. I figured I would stick with visual art and literature because they're my primary interests for a future career.
Winter break starts in a week so I'm returning to Cleveland soon. Afterward, I'm going back to school.

Oh I'm so jealous! I loved New York when I was there for spring break this year. I bet you're having a blast! I'd love to see some of your artwork that was displayed. Where are you staying in NY? Literature and Art...wonderful combination. I think I too am going to go with literature...I've switched majors so many times already and I'm only a sophomore. I was at Otterbein for Art, then switched to Theatre Design, then left Otterbein to go to OSU and I haven't quite declared a major but I'm thinking Literature and maybe getting a Theatre minor if I can swing it.
Anyway, this is long enough for now...I hope your trip home is safe!

I'm staying in a dorm in the New York Arts Program Chelsea, but not for much longer. I'm leaving Sunday afternoon on a train to Cleveland from Penn Station. Never been on a train for twelve hours, before!
Hopefully OSU is working out. Literature with a Theatre minor seems like an awesome idea.
