V is just doing some amazing things. Every day, things change, and I'm in awe of her drive to grow and learn. It also makes me wonder at what point we as humans lose that strong desire to learn... it's kind of sad when you think about it. OMG, my baby girl is sitting under her play gym right now, hitting the toys, happily cooing, and blowing bubbles! And I'm not sitting right next to her! V is making HUGE strides lately! Yesterday she finally figured out how to make this sound with her mouth that we've been working on for over a week. She was so happy. She'd do it, and then giggle. Today, we were having a diaper change, and afterwards, I laid down next to her to look at her, and she rolled onto her side to look at me. So, I moved back some more and encouraged her to keep going. We went to our second doc visit yesterday, and she's gained FOUR lbs in the last two months! She's 9 lbs, 14 oz now! Almost 10 lbs! Yay mama milk! :D She's growing right on track, in the 50th percentile. She's sleeping fairly well through the night now, cept for waking every two hours to nurse. Actually Victoria is 5 weeks old now. :) She has definitely grown! She's starting to make eye contact and smile at you. She's also started to make baby sounds, and coo and gurgle. So, during the whole BP ordeal before our daughter was born, there was a LOT of praying going on. We were all scared, and not at all sure what to do. I finally called my mom, who called her church, and her family (who are all deeply religious), who in turn called people THEY know to pray for us.
