Okay, came home yesterday and put my wallet down somewhere and now I can't find it.

Any suggestions where I should look?

coulda fell under a couch or bed.
i always check coat pockets, jeans, etc.

I'd look in your bags, if you brought any in. I've don't that before. I've also put mine in the trunk of my car. Took me a couple days to find it. :)
