It's because he's cute, handsome, brilliant,compassionate, passionate :) and portrayed as flawed but wonderful human being, if only he were real! lol

yes! and u know for me it's not just Michael Shanks. I adored Daniel Jackson when Spader played him. The character, there's just something about Daniel! LOL
