Fannishly speaking

I do not mean to be hiding on tumblr fannishly, but I do not have any real thinky-thoughts, re: fandom right now (because my brain is fucking mush), so my time spent over there is mostly going, "Ooh, neat! Reblog!" But right now I have some thinky-thoughts and love having an actual blog so that people might read them ( Read more... )

fannish rambling

Personally, I'm kind of about to cry about the Clint & Kate story happening, but thats a personal issue.

I have every Clint comic and read them all. What are you looking to read?

Like, good cry or bad cry?

Per reading, basically anything. What do you recommend? Where's a good starting point, do you think?

Still writing Clint/Coulson because of the Internet.

I blame the internet for the fact that I'm reading Clint/Coulson. (In fact, this may or may not be entirely due to your tumblr...) Because, aside from Coulsn's appearances in the Iron Man movies, I don't even know who these characters are. XD But movie promo photos reliably inform me that Clint is pretty, and apparently that's all I need to get into a pairing these days?

(I may or may not also be reading Tony/Steve, which I feel slightly less ridiculous about because I've at least seen both of their movies. Though as of yet, I don't really know where to look for the good fic, it's just that one showed up on my friends list yesterday that was pretty amazing.)

It might be best to try Steve/Tony comic-verse that's not set at any particular point. I don't quite trust the movieverse S/T because they haven't even been in a movie together yet. (And, yes, I know I say this as I write MORE Clint/Coulson, but whatever. I do what I want [/cartman].)

Well, so far the only Tony/Steve I've read have been a couple AUs; probably won't read much that's directly set in the movieverse until after I've seen the movie (and yes, this is me counting down to May 5th when I get to go see it; we totally bought tickets last night because I'm pretty sure the movie theatre that's directly in downtown Chicago would be sold out if we tried to just get tickets the night of...)
