Yeah, it's been that kind of week:

--The "Pride & Prejudice" comic has been released! And is pretty! I've not read it yet, but I've got a good feeling, having read up on the writer.

It's snarky, there are cops, and the fact that he's a wizard is not the coolest thing about the show [well, it is, but it's not constantly hammered in about how he's a wizard, and isn't it neat-o?]. It's got a really good sense of what it is, you know? It reminds me of "Due South", where there's references made to the weird factor, but in such a way that you grin along with everyone else. I love magical realism when it's done right, and this is done right.

[And now I want a DS/DF cross where Harry gets called in to help with one of Ray's cases. It would be GLORIOUS:

"I came to Chicago on the trail of the killers of my father."
"That's Bob. He lives in his own head. Literally."

And so forth.]
