except, ok, I have a question. there was a sentence that was a little wonky to me
His eyes were coloured with the worldly knowledge of a hundred and twenty-something year old vampire, with the emotion of man who’d known love and the heart of a woman.
the first time I read it, in my head it was with the emotion of a man ... and the heart of a woman like, with the heart of a woman instead of known love and known the heart of a woman, which is what I think you meant? I don't know, it could just be me being slow.

I had so much trouble with that line! I tweaked it goodness knows how many times! I think I meant something along the lines of;
- His eyes expressed the emotion of a full-grown man who had loved.
- And who had known what it was like to be truly loved by a woman and be in her heart...?

Does that make sense? I really do need to rethink that line! But thanks for letting me know what you thought about it!

I love how Buffy wasn't really interested in dating. Poor Spike. He tried so hard to be good and not make a fuss. Love that Buffy was just as pleased to see him at the Bronze as he was to find her.

Now things are going to get really complex. A teenage boy with all their urges will be a bit more complicated.
