Awesome first chapter. I love that Bobby, of all of them, really gets how this whole thing happened; he's very good with dealing with Cas in canon and that often gets overlooked in fanfiction so it's kind of nice to see him understanding. The sniping and jabs at each other from the boys (or, well, mostly at Castiel) where all ic and clever and fun to read. I also love it when you can mentally see a scene in a fanfiction in your head, which was possible with this entire chapter. And I love this whole plot idea with Gabriel's grace, I just have to say.

Haha I know right? I kind of love how well Bobby and Cas deal with each other in this grudging "adopted into the Winchester clan" sort of way. It's something I totally want to see more of in fic.

I am so freaking tickled that you write for the Supernatural fandom. And a pairing I adore, too. Though I'd read it even if it was Pestilence/Death/Pickle Chips as long as you were writing it. You do characterization so well, no matter what fandom it is. Now I must read instead of getting much needed sleep.

From the corner, Castiel eyes the contents of his MRE like he expects it to crawl out of the pouch and try to eat his face at any moment. Bobby had spent five minutes in the kitchen wondering if he should heat one up for the angel in the first place because he obviously wouldn’t need it, but didn’t want the dumbass to feel like he was being excluded because Bobby was pissed at him too.

These are the complicated feelings of men, or something.
