Honestly woman, that was heart-wrenching, and perfect. I'd already read the two fics this story stems from (maldoror_gw's "Forty if we are lucky" and aviss's " The Strongest"), so I was prepared for what would happen but... but... ;_;

I love how the "not making excuses" turns so hard to uphold for Sanji when it's about Zoro's death.

Usually I don't like death fic, mostly I simply avoid them, I still don't know why I read this one, everything I know is I wasn't able to take my eyes off the page after reading the first two lines. Damn! That was sad but... sooo good!

Ouch...just...ouch. I love the sentiments in this fic, from the "no making excuses" to the fact that even if he was taken out by some punk-ass bitch of a challenger, dying in battle is still a better alternative for Zoro.
