Haha I think that despite the crack, I saw something in the two characters' personalities that really clicked for me, because it seemed to me that a lot of people in Kira's life were gentle with him without being completely honest, and in the end, Ikkaku has always been the exact opposite. I'm still exploring the wide range of possibilities these two seem to have, so I hope to see you for the ride! Glad you're enjoying everything. ^_^
