(OOC: Um... I'm not sure who's driving... so I'm calling that Germany's... shotgun, maybe? And how far away is the monster?)

It had been a long ride so far. Everyone was rather quiet, except for Italy's occasional complaint about the lack of pasta or pizza. It didn't take much to make him hungry...

The silence had given Ludwig some time to think. What would the group learn in China? Would they learn about the missing brothers? Waiting for answers was a nightmare. He stared out at the wrecked land around him. They really have been everywhere, he thought, referring to the shadowy menaces. Before he could complete his train of thought, however, he could have sworn he saw something fall on the side of the road.

"Hold on a moment! I think I just saw a person collapse! Let's pull over and investigate!"

Who was the new victim?

(OOC: Also, I've got a weird question [forgot to ask it earlier bah]... why are we going to China if the Asian nations are in Japan? Is there a plotline event planned there? I guess that the group doesn't know where the other nations are yet, but it just occurred to me...)

((You don't know where China and them are, the last you heard they were all at China's house))

Once the car had come to a halt Francis popped open his door. He stared at what he thought was a person lying on the wayside, you couldn't be too sure with all these monsters, and even if it was a person everyone one seemed to be losing their sanity in the chaos.

But they couldn't leave, they had to see if they could help. So Francis began to walk over to the hunched figure with the rest.

Something was wrong...something was horribly wrong. France could feel something in his body...his heart? It was screaming out in agony, which the rest of his body translated as massive pain. Darkness over came France's eyes then, in the distance, he could see a single red-purple ribbon that was rapidly unraveling towards him. Once it completely unraveled to his body another wash of pain over came him that was more horrible than the last.

He felt as though someone died...as though he'd just witnessed their death...as...though he could feel the blood on his hands...

England's blood.

He suddenly went very, very cold.

Francis fell hard to his knees, but the pain was nowhere close to what he was feeling in his whole body. The pain, the cold, the loss.

“Arthur”

Francis tried to stand up, but everything was struggle. He wanted to give up, crawl into a corner and hide. But he had to do something.

((short post is short OTL))

His body continued to be plagued by shutters and shots of pain that centered from his heart but spread quickly though out his body. It was becoming hard to breath and he soon realized his was hyperventilating.

A week traveling in a car through monster ravaged countryside was not Denmark's idea of a fun road trip.

He'd stopped trying to make some kind of small talk days ago. It was hard, after all, to talk like everything was normal when all one had to do was look out the window to see that the world seemed to be going to hell. But just staring silently out the window was just making him depressed. He was seriously going to lose it if he had to take one more day of this.

Germany's sudden exclamation jarred Denmark out of his thoughts. He nearly jumped out of the car, about as glad to be up and moving as he was worried for whoever had just collapsed on the side of the road. He ran ahead of the group to the fallen body. When he got close enough to see who it was, he yelled back to the rest of the group, "Hey! Hurry up! It's Korea!"

Im Yong Soo was somewhat irked to say the least. After the first attack he had found his own country in uproar and tumult to say the least and he had quickly decided to move to find his brothers and sister. There was only that much he could do on his own and of course they'd need his guidance. But... truthfully, he was scared on his own, even in times of war had there never been such a threat and what there was... well, was something you knew ( ... )

(OOC: Really dumb question... how would I "address" Korea? I mean, he be called by his full name, or just Im? Or Yong Soo? X_X Also, short and shoddy post. Bleaaagghh.)

Once out of the car, Ludwig went to the downed Korean. The most important task would be to get the basics of his situation. "Korea, what happened? How did you get here? Have you seen any other nations so far?" Here was another victim of the shadows, face to face. What information he had might have been another piece to the puzzle...

Reaching the Korean, Mathias bent down to see what was wrong with the Asian man. Which was when he saw the gecko-squid monster coming towards them. He scrambled back up to his feet, and readied his axe towards the approaching monster with a cocky grin.

"Guys, who's up for kicking some monster ass?"
