The death of hope

Coincidentally, my wife was commenting just a few moments ago about how life goes on. Even when one life comes to an end, Life, if you will, keeps going. Which, I suppose, could be extrapolated to indicate how relatively insignificant our own lives are - had to beat you to that one.

As for hope, don't let go of it. Even if it is just a tiny sliver. Without hope there is only despair.

If you want to talk about the big stuff, I'd be more than happy to discuss things about which we are probably all a bit wrong about.

Actually, I'd like to commiserate with you a bit, as we just buried a friend yesterday. I have a feeling that two months is just the beginning...
