I remember why I don't like this time of year.

[Residential ghost-talker is staring at the brown and dried cornstalks hay. He's been in here for almost an hour now, trying to find the other side.]

Oi! Anyone!

[A small little black cloud wandered toward him, too low to be a person. In fact he hears a meow. Insert scowl.]Go away cat. Unless you ( Read more... )

Aw man, what the hell?!

*That would be the sound a very loud, irritated Texan, also lost in the cornstalks.*

What is this, Oklahoma?! This isn't funny!

[Cue looking around and ignoring the cat-cloud.]

Someone else is stuck in here. Great.

[Still being with someone else is better than being stuck in here alone. Ryoma quickly moves through the maze.]

[A few minutes later a very irritated brat of twelve years comes around a corner.

Big Chill then noticed him and swooped down, merging into the visible spectrum. "Excuse me," he said, a gust of icy wind accompanying the statement. "Can you tell me the way out?"

[He's used to ghosts and their clouds but actually seeing something else appear takes Ryoma a bit to react to. Forgive the stare if you will.]

...No.

[Flat refusal, but a reason for it as well.]

I'm lost so I wouldn't know it.
