[he stood in the observation cart, staring out the window. His mind raced with thoughts. This train...it had him trapped here. Yet was there potential to this experience?]

Why? Why am I here? What is the point?

[he whispered to himself. No one else was in the cart, he could freely speak to himself]

What is my purpose for being brought here?

To be on a train, obviously.

Is that really the purpose though? To merely ride this train into infinity? Is that the purpose for all of us being here?

Dunno. But for the moment, our purpose seems to be to live on this train. I'm not too sure of the details.

If our purpose is to only live in this train, then what are we to survive? Is there anything on this train that threatens our lives?

To be stuck here like the rest of us losers.

Then this is a prison of some sort? It makes no sense to me. I was taught there was a reason for everything, a higher power pushing things along for a greater purpose. This seems to have no greater purpose that I can see.

May as well be. Though in its defense, it gives us a whole hell of a lot more freedom than any prison does. Not that I'd know from experience. I may have made a few mistakes, but I've never done anything bad enough to be imprisoned.

If there's a higher power here, he's got a pretty sick sense of humor.

Well...I suppose there is nothing we can do about it for now. The conductor of the train is unreachable as you told me. Perhaps one day we will be able to get our answers.
