[She'll find the why and how soon enough. But it doesn't take a brain surgeon to see that something is wrong here. Intriguingly wrong. Azure has places to go and people to see, little man. She doesn't have time to waste on petty trains or the sadistic whims of anyone other than herself. ]This course of action is inadvisable, whoever you are. Let me ( Read more... )

[too frustrated, distracted, and wary of attack to have hidden his wings, Cecil is walking through train cars trying to find either a way out or Kain, whichever he might discover first.

He's quite ruffled when he comes across Azure, probably understandable.]

...I take it you've found yourself here unexpectedly as well?

[Azure gently puts her hand around her gun, but otherwise has no reaction to the strange winged man but to smirk wider.]

How astute. I was on my way to see my brother when this ridiculousness decided to happen. Tragic really.

[Cecil seems to have brought a sword to a potential gunfight. awkwaaaaard.]

Ridiculousness indeed.

Pardon me if this question seems strange, but have you noticed any peculiar creatures about? Small, perhaps a foot or two high, black--almost as if shadow is their only substance, before you found yourself here?

[doesn't beat around the bush, this one...and strange question indeed.]

Yes! [No.] I saw something like that flung out a window at high speed. Utterly bizarre. Any chance it could fly?

[Ssil raises an eyebrow as she walks into the car.]

Was that you talking to the train earlier?

[She has what Azure will probably think of as a British accent somewhere under the way she hisses a little on her sibilants.]

[Blink. Stare. Azure returns your lifted eyebrow lizard girl.]

No, that would be insipid. I was the one trying to talk to the conductor earlier.

I doubt he keeps the PA on all the time. I'm not even sure it works both ways even if it is on. In any case, no one's managed to get to the engine yet; the train seems to be infinitely long.

Also, you're not going to be let off until the train feels like it. No one is; I've been here for months now.
